Of Course Its Coincidence...

but what life chucks at you...

I am friends with two elderly people and their special needs son. They've helped me in recent times and in a small way I have helped him. One of his parents is in a bad way health wise and age is not helping so last evening I went to the little bingo club his Mum runs and she was dashing out the door to go home where there was an emergency. It was assumed it was his dad. Turns out it is him and he is in intensive care.

Still don't know what is wrong but it shows how life changes within seconds and how more worry is piled on people already coping with big issues.

See what you can do to help them, maybe? Then you can add some positivity to the situation and lighten the worry you speak of.

I find so many people talk about how bad life is, but don't get up and actually DO something about it. So be the difference! Be pro-active :)

That's very true. Luckily they have a big family network. He's still in hospital with Pneumonia and pancreatic issues. I've mailed a Get Well Card for him and one for his Mum which I hope will arrive tomorrow.

I'm sure they will be glad of your thinking of them.

Don't think the cards that I sent have arrived as yet. I have phoned but missed his Mum by 2 minutes, I did speak to his Step Dad. It all happened so suddenly. I have now heard on his way for a scan they had rush him back to the ward as his heart had stopped. Not out of the woods by a long way as yet.
