I Can't Be Bothered To Travel...

to what will be the last weekend of the lights in Roker Park...physically I'm not up to it.  Hopefully, there will be another time.

The free events in Durham City in a few weeks will be less difficult to get to and as interesting.

The weather is dull, it seems colder and the experts say we'll have quite a wet and windy weekend.

Tomorrow my garden will be hopefully sorted and nothing more will be required to be done until nearly spring. I've been criticised for having a gardener but for many years this work has been free because of a friend of Mum's and usually as there are only a couple of lawns that need mowing its a quick job. Who knows if I take it very very slowly and in stages I may be able to have a go myself even if it takes a day or two but this time there were shrubs and branches to be taken away. That is not a regular occurrence.

Today, I will vacuum the house and have a general tidy around. Exciting?

Update:More tidying up than planned, lost some tickets and took the place apart and then they turned up safe and sound. Now put in a drawer where I know they are.

Good call regarding not going out, it has turned into a really wet Saturday afternoon.

Managed a quick shop for some bargains...chicken and bacon sandwiches, chicken and mushroom pie, celery but some chocolate to finally dip the shortbread fingers in...so guess what I shall be doing tomorrow...
