Rainbow Trout...

What a bargain...as I write this I have potato and herb potato wedges baking in the oven(reduced price)a trout(but here's the surprise)it was worth approx £5 and I found it for 69p but when I opened it up tonight...there were two! So that's bringing them down to 35p per fish...

Doing some broccoli, cauliflower and have added some mixed herbs too...

It was lovely...and the trout just melted in the mouth...It came away from the skin and had already been filleted and I removed the bones easily. I have been thinking that I may make some fish cakes with mashed potato, lemon juice, broccoli(or cabbage)and trout...so easy.

 

I have so many wonderful recipes in books, on the web perhaps I'll share some and eventually link via here to my Pinterest board of healthy tips, recipes and facts...

 

As for earlier in the day I ate very little but stuck to fruit. So I think that I have been good. I also have lots of extra's to add to my meals including dried fruit and seeds/fibre mixes that can be sprinkled on meals...
