Blockbusters Anyone?
That TV quiz of the 70's(I think)returns to our TV Screens from Monday at 8pm(in the UK)with new host Radio 5' and Radio 2's presenter/DJ Simon Mayo. Same tv set, same music, two contestants against one and same amount of money given for each correct answer but the main prizes are set to be much improved.
It's on one of the satellite/digital channels which once stood alone but is now owned by Sky(I understand)so I thought that means as I don't subscribe to Sky any more I won't be able to watch but the station is still on the rival system so available to non Sky subscribers. So if you have freeview or freesat box you should still be able to watch. The station is Challenge TV. Some of the best ideas are both simple and from the past and they still work.
I understand that "Play Your Cards Right" associated with Bruce Forsythe for years is to be revived but with Vernon Kaye so I assume that will be on ITV as that seems to be his exclusive home tv wise.
