I Didn't Want This...
They have decided because Mum had not been seen by a Dr since January(She was in hospital in March)so a Dr would see her there?
Mum has to have a Post Mortum and I cannot stop it happening so I have to identify Mum's body at 3pm today!

Hi Anthony
I did leave a message on your previous post, but google kept asking for my mobile number and when I tried to skip it, the post got deleted!
It is tough to go identify your Mum's body, but for some reason when I saw my Dad's many years ago, I felt elated and as he had been killed in an accident, it helped me stop expecting him to walk through the door or be sitting in his chair.
Be brave Anthony.
Love Carol x
I know it's tough, but I'm afraid it's the law, her doctor has to have come & seen her a few days before she died.I'm surprised the care home didn't tell you that Anthony .
One Anon did say that would happen in a previous message. It's something you have to do. Have you anyone who would go with you, just to support you until you go in?
Took my jacket and trousers to be altered today and they're rushing them through for Thursday but they've cost an arm and a leg but it has to be done...£17.50. I suspect that is probably a good price by the reaction of the few I have mentioned it to.
Been in touch with the solicitors to see about obtaining Mum's will(I have to collect it in person and its a bit of a distance so a taxi may be expensive, I may try and struggle with a bus)the council to sort out my financial changes(Looks as though you can get help if you are at £16,000 or under)and after paying for the funeral I am not too away from that threshold and it won't take long to spend Mum's money to be close to that figure.
They will accept what looks like normal daily expensives and would only question large withdrawels
for big expensive items...
The bank(They want to see a will and death certificate)and I think that is everything barring the funeral arrangements and possibly flowers etc...
I am arranging that tomorrow morning at 10am at the local funeral companies office.
Thank you again for the support and help.
If the Care Home should've told me this might happen, once again I could ask if the care was as it should have been, my friend who has helped with many of my questions at this difficult time said that she thought there were times that I was not being informed as much as I probably should've been.
I'm away to get shaved to look presentable for Mum. Well better than I do now!
