What A Horrible Day...
not helped because I forgot my mobile phone for getting a taxi home...the normal payphone in Tesco's was out of order and the one that patches you through to a taxi firm worked but I had to wait over an hour to get one.
I don't know if it is the cold(I didn't think it was that bad!)Is it something else? The tips of my fingers and thumbs have gone numb. It's a most peculiar feeling hitting a keyboard with no feeling. No pins and needles down my arms. Been that way for approx 25 minutes...not going to panic though...
I'm having a rest and seeing if getting warm helps...
Update:It's taken nearly an hour but I am starting to get some feeling back!
It could be Raynaud's Disease and considering the problems I can have getting around my immune system attacks my kidneys and thinks that they are not mine...I have a lot of symptoms that match up with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Often getting comfortable in bed is a real problem...
A month or two back they said I had some fancy problem with my bloods that usually means problems with stiff joints...I'll have to try and remember what it is and look it up...

So what symptoms have you got that make you think you might have Rheumatoid Arthritis ?
Are you still sleeping in your Mum's old bed ? That could be the reason you can't get comfortable , if the mattress is as old as you said it was.
We're off again...I have stiff and swollen joints but things change daily...I have even had times where one leg can be shorter than the other.
I have had times where my hands and feet go into a kind of claw type shape and sometimes only hot water puts it right.
As I say I don't tell everything on here but you seem to be managing to get me to keep adding to the information...I must stop justifying myself...
Yes, you must Gildy. There's no need. And you don't have to answer any questions if you don't think it appropriate.
I have trouble getting comfortable in bed too. I find it helps to give each of my legs a pillow to rest on.
It may not be the same for you though.
I have had to do that sometimes VQ or try and put the duvet/quilt between my knees. Sometimes its horrible when knees are resting on each other if you try to lie on your side...
But you do too much looking up symptoms instead of seeing your GP. Go and get checked out instead of self diagnosing.....and this is a different Anon.
I hardly ever look up symptoms in books or on the net and just go by my Dr or Consultant and often I just live with what I have as I have for years.
I have only been forced to talk about my situation lately justifying myself to a particular Anon who has questioned what I have wrong with me...
My bloods and urine, blood pressure etc... tells most of what we need to know...and regular check ups(every two or three months)
I am nicely relaxed, sleepy and had a very small drink of cider. I have also eaten well today(Fruit, cereal and milk)a ham, lettuce, tomato and peas pudding sandwich and a rice pot. Also water and a weak coffee...
