In Recent Days...
when resting, I have been watching a couple of bees being attracted to the brickwork outside of Mum's bedroom window, they arrive, then disappear. I cannot see any attraction to cause an interest to them, well today there seemed a few more so I decided just maybe they might be thinking of building a nest
If you click on the link you'll see why...
So I tried spraying the area with air freshener and them too only indirectly if they flew into the mist, they hopefully turn around but when air pushes the spray away from the area you are trying to reach it is difficult but I think that I did get some in the area and so far hopefully they'll get the message if they keep returning. They haven't been back for an hour so far so we'll see how it goes...
If things go wrong and it becomes worse, I'll call the landlord in...

Oh dear, Gildy. Are you sure it's not a capital offence to spray bees with air freshener?
It might be but I couldn't really hit them nor was I really aiming at them more the area of the house they were interested in, I suspect any residue will be lost but a couple of bees rather than many being harmed must be better in the long term, I'm the last person to harm virtually anything that lives.
I have been known to leave Daddy Long Legs and moths alone that sometimes get indoors...and live alongside them...
It's been going on for over a week...
My first meal of the day has been my own fresh fruit salad...strawberries, blueberries, bananas, grapes and purple grape juice...
I may just have cup a soup, I did well with that fruit salad, I may have to invest in one of those high powered water rifles...
I have had various wasp nests in my garden workshop over the years, they tend to build nests in cable reels, stored carpets and of course cardboard boxes. They buzz pass me often while working with the vice,I know where they are, I don't bother them and they don't bother me...live and let live I say.
....but what a surprise in store for a burglar
Generally, that's my attitude, I used get more wildlife until the new neighbours tended to do a design seen so often on makeover programmes.
But yet you've sprayed them, so your attitude has changed.
Oh Dear, Here we go again...
I have never directly aimed anything at them. I tried spraying the area they seem interested in and if you saw how difficult it is to spray the location.
The spray more often than not gets blown away. They keep flying away and coming back.
And I hope that they dislike the new smell and stay away.
'So I tried spraying the area with air freshener and them too'....is this what I read??
What happens is the mist drifts and expands in the air if they return whilst that's happening hopefully they turn around in the opposite direction.
I'll edit it just to please you, you're so pedantic and again I still get confused who is who...
I even said in the first comment I couldn't really hit them. But I'm sorry that sounds as though I would if I could.
I hope that you always are word perfect.
Of course I am if I'm making a statement as you were.....and I read what I see and expect that's what you mean.
