Well, That Was A Surprise...

Plusnet is the new ISP company I have gone with and my line is supposed to go live on May 8th but there is a slight hiccup in that my previous company sent out an automatated notification telling me they will be taking a payment on the same date. Plusnet could not help at present but thought it is probably just the last e-mail Madasafish were sending out and the switchover will go ok.

I contacted Madasafish today and they don't have any notification that I have switched suppliers and that the new ISP takes over on that date so I have been told to contact over the next day or two.

I had heard that both companies are connected and are partners(sister companies)but when I phoned today the same greetings tape was played with the options to press except where Plusnet is mentioned Madasafish had been substituted and the person answering had a Yorkshire accent so they are using the same call centre staff and its the same call centre for both.

I have found out the offer I have managed to obtain that has saved me so much money was a limited offer so I did well to take it up when I did.

I have heard(don't know if its true that BT own Plusnet)

Oh well, not long to go now...
